There are a lot of activities in this new series which will assist learners to develop their numeracy skills and talents; develop their mathematical spirit and thoughts; apply problem-solving techniques to real-life situations; make informed decisions and choices; use critical and creative thinking to develop themselves; plan how to work according to specific time allocations.

The Level 4 Mathematical Literacy and Mathematics and Mathematical Sciences were developed according to the A(B)ET Unit Standards (SAQA) and comply with all the National Requirements. Learners may choose between Mathematical Literacy and Mathematics and Mathematical Sciences of which one of the two is compulsory to obtain the GETC qualification. Both cover 16 credits and all the Specific Outcomes and Assessment Criteria are covered. The material consists of a Facilitator’s Guide and a Learner’s Workbook. The material complies with all the National requirements.
